The CommunityWorks Women’s Business Center focuses on training and support for entrepreneurs and small business owners. We have multiple affordable training series throughout the year for businesses in the idea phase to businesses in the growth phase. For each phase of entrepreneurship (READY, SET, GO) we offer two training series. One cohort style course and one financial acumen workshop.

Your napkins are filled with great ideas for a business start but you’re not sure what next steps to take. Join the CommuunityWorks WBC for a 2-day idea boot camp. Using the Business Plan Canvas, we’ll introduce you to the world of business ownership to see if your idea is ready for launching. By the end of the training, you’ll have a business canvas and the next steps outlined to get your business started.

This 10-week training is designed for start-ups building the foundation of their business. Participants will learn how to solidify their business idea, develop a business plan, explore financing options, assess risk management, develop a customer service philosophy, and more.

Doing Business with Intention

Doing Business with Intention goes beyond superficial training to challenge business owners to base their business decisions on the basic algebraic equation. At the end of this course each participant will be able to use their own case study to build a budget, create a strategic outline for growth and begin a healthy relationship with their business.
