Are you a business owner looking to take your company to the next level? Join us for the CommunityWorks Academy, an eight-week program designed to meet the unique needs of businesses in the growth stage. This program will equip participants with essential skills and strategies for achieving sustainable success. Spartanburg residents are eligible to receive a $500 grant for attending and completing the program.
Event Details:
- Date: Thursdays, September 19 – November 7
- Time: 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM
- Location: The Spark Center at Spartanburg Community College, 1875 East Main Street Duncan SC 29334
- Format: Hybrid meetings, allowing both in-person and virtual attendance.
- Target Audience: Business owners with companies earning between $50,000 to $250,000 in revenue.
In-Person Class Dates: 9/19, 10/3, 10/30 and 11/7

Legal Compliance, Intellectual Property, and Contracts: Gain knowledge of intellectual property, trademarks, and contracts. Learn about legal compliance and how to adhere to state and national laws, rules, and regulations.
Entrepreneurship and Burnout: Partner with a local therapist to explore mental health challenges and strategies to combat burnout. Learn methods to better serve your business while maintaining your well-being.
Network with other Academy Alumni: Network and learn from Academy Alumni from previous cohorts (2022 and 2023). Gain insights on how they implemented resources and expanded their network post-Academy.
