Back to Our Roots: The Housing Trust Fund is Back

CommunityWorks was establish in 2008 as a local housing trust fund through a partnership between the City of Greenville, the United Way of Greenville and the Greenville County Redevelopment Authority. The trust fund was put on hold after the housing market took a big hit in that same year. In late 2017, the fund was reestablished through a unanimous vote from the Greenville City Council. CommunityWorks is  honored to once again be a part of this important initiative and we commend the city council for its commitment to growing a stronger community for all of its citizens. CommunityWorks continues to monitor and evaluate the most current information regarding COVID-19 (coronavirus) as part of our commitment to the health and welfare of our staff, partners and clients.

In an effort to keep our staff as well as our community safe and healthy, our office will be temporarily closed to the public. However, our operation will remain intact. We have instituted a work from home policy to ensure we continue supporting our clients, small businesses and community partners.

As a reminder, you can reach us by calling (864) 235-6331, or by visiting our contact page.

Please note that we are also actively working with our investors and philanthropic partners regarding relief funds for low-income households and small business owners. We will share information with our partners and clients as these ideas develop further.
