CommunityWorks was establish in 2008 as a local housing trust fund through a partnership between the City of Greenville, the United Way of Greenville and the Greenville County Redevelopment Authority. The trust fund was put on hold after the housing market took a big hit in that same year. In late 2017, the fund was reestablished through a unanimous vote from the Greenville City Council. CommunityWorks is honored to once again be a part of this important initiative and we commend the city council for its commitment to growing a stronger community for all of its citizens.
