CommunityWorks was featured on WYFF 4’s “4 the Record,” where Nigel Robertson sat down with two of our loan clients to learn about their journey with CommunityWorks and how we support entrepreneurs.
Nigel spoke with Franchezka Westwood, co-founder of HM Meal Prep. Franchezka and her brother, Kevin Westwood, started HM Meal Prep in 2016, helping families eat healthy with meal prep services. In 2022, they received a Small Business Loan through CommunityWorks to close on their first storefront.
In addition to Franchezka, Nigel also spoke with Lauren Rogers, the owner of IB Construction and Development LLC. Lauren shared her journey and experience with CommunityWorks, particularly highlighting our affordable housing loan program and its pivotal role in her entrepreneurial endeavors.
