This 10-week training is designed for businesses with less than five employees. Participants learn how to choose a business idea, develop a business plan, develop a marketing plan, understand market analyses, explore financing options, assess risk management, develop a customer’s service philosophy, as well as other relevant entrepreneurial skills. Participants who complete the program and submit their work to the instructor will receive grant money to go towards their business.

Wednesdays Feb 08th – April 12th from 6-7:30pm. All class sessions will be virtual!

Requirements include:

·       Participants must attend at least 7 of the 10 classes to complete the course.
·        Completing a discovery session with the CommunityWorks Women’s Business Center.
·        Having a registered business with the SC Sec. of State and Business Bank Account.
·       Completing a business canvas or business plan
·       Sharing your business elevator pitch during the final weeks of class.
