Upstate Affordable Housing Summit

Join CommunityWorks for the Upstate Affordable Housing Summit, a gathering of housing experts, policymakers, and community leaders focused on addressing South Carolina’s most urgent housing challenges.
Through dynamic panel discussions, insights from industry experts, and cross-sector networking, this event will explore the critical connection between housing and the economy, innovative financing solutions, and public policy strategies that move affordable housing forward.
Whether you’re a developer, nonprofit, lender, government official, or advocate, this is your opportunity to engage with changemakers and be part of shaping the future of housing in the Upstate.
The Summit will open with an economic overview from Matt Martin of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. The day will continue with a housing policy overview and panels on removing barriers to development and highlighting innovative strategies in affordable housing.

This year, we are introducing a new addition to our housing summit for those hoping to learn more about funding mechanisms for affordable housing at the local, state, and federal levels. Immediately following the summit, join CommunityWorks in partnership with SCACED for an Affordable Housing Practioner Workshop sponsored by PNC Bank. Hear from local housing professionals on how they are finding financing tools to finish projects and make Affordable Housing possible.
Let’s come together to inspire action, spark innovation, and expand access to affordable housing opportunities across our communities. Registration opens on Monday, July 6th. If you have any questions, contact us at info@cwcarolina.org.
